VANUATU CITIZENSHIP ACQUISITION PROCESS

We provide a seamless service, assisting you every step of the way with your citizenship application. We provide detailed advice and support covering all aspects of documentation collation, support throughout the application submission process and full arrangement of the Oath Ceremony (in your preferred location) when passport is given to you.

1) Initial Consultation with CBI 4 Passport advisors – 4 DAYS

Our advisors will evaluate your personal circumstances and guide you through each of the program’s stages, helping you to check the required documents, and preparing the quote breakdown depending on the number of additional applicants included in the application.

2) Citizenship Pre-approval

The initial stage involves Vanuatu government due diligence checks being conducted on the main investor (and their spouse if applicable) to confirm eligibility for the program. Investors are required to pay due diligence fees and to submit a copy of their passport and police clearance certificate. The pre-approval phase duration is 2 days.

3) Confirmation of Pre-approval and document preparation – 4 DAYS

Once pre-approval is granted by the Vanuatu government, we will then assist the investor with the preparation of his or her citizenship and ensure all documentation is cross-checked and submitted in the correct format.

4) 25% Pre-payment and application submission

The applicant makes a 25% pre-payment and the application is submitted to the Vanuatu Government. Upon receipt of a letter of approval, 75% of the remaining amount is payable within 5 days.

5) Oath Ceremony – 30 DAYS

Once the citizenship certificate is issued, the applicant is required to take the Oath. An Oath Ceremony can be arranged at the applicant’s preferred location at an extra fee.

The Commissioner of Oath and a passport officer can be invited to the investor’s home country or to another destination so the investor can take the Oath and the passports can be formally handed over. Alternatively, investors can travel to Vanuatu to take the Oath.

6) Acquisition of Vanuatu Citizenship & Passport

On the day of the Oath Ceremony, investors receive their Vanuatu passport giving them visa-free access to 129 countries worldwide and a broad range of tax optimization and wealth preservation benefits. Passports are valid for a period of 5 years and are renewable for the same period.
